Malcolm Hughes have recently invested in the IDS Stream UP GPR system. This innovative system featuring multi-channel, multi-frequency and dual polarisation now allows our nationwide teams to collect large quantities of high quality data on our subsurface mapping projects very quickly at driving speed, without disruption to the traffic flow constituting a reduction in the need for expensive on-site traffic management which not only brings health and safety benefits and cost savings; it also improves our overall project efficiency and enhances our survey deliverables which will further benefit all of our Clients.
If used in conjunction with our existing IDS Stream-C high density radar array system, we can now offer our Clients up to 100% GPR coverage in a fraction of the time compared to conventional methods of the same specification.
This latest investment firmly cements Malcolm Hughes’ place as one of the UK’s leaders in providing high quality subsurface mapping.
